In coordination between the International Organization for Laboratory Accreditation (ILAC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the transitional period from the ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 to the ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories has been extended from November 2020 to 01 June 2021. Due to the conditions and restrictions imposed as a result of the global Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.
