In coordination between the International Organization for Laboratory Accreditation (ILAC) ‎and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the transitional period from the ‎ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 to the ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 General requirements for the competence ‎of testing and calibration laboratories has been extended from November 2020 to 01 June 2021. ‎Due to the conditions and restrictions imposed as a result of the global Corona virus disease ‎‎2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.‎
