‎ The Sudanese Accreditation Council (SDAC) participated in the Meeting of the Arab ‎Accreditation Cooperation (ARAC) Committee (ARAC Multilateral Recognition Arrangements ‎‎(MLA), Technical and communication and marketing Committees) were held through internet ‎during the period 05-10 October 2020.‎

‎ During the meetings, the ARAC MLA Group held its9thmeetingthrough internet on 05th ‎October 2020 with the participation of the ARAC ABs MLA Signatories representatives, ‎fruitful and constructive discussions on strengthening the ARAC MLA system and crucial ‎decisions made to overcome the substantial challenges faced because of COVID-19 outbreak ‎and to ensure a strong and also flexible peer evaluation system.‎

‎ Within the activities fruitful and constructive discussions was made during the 14th ARAC ‎MLA Committee online meeting held on 06th October 2020 on strengthening the ARAC ‎Accreditation infrastructure in the Arab Countries with the participation of ARAC ‎Accreditation Bodies. It was the occasion to have an overview and discuss the concept of ‎remote assessments to face the challenges caused by the COVID-19 outbreak‎

‎ During the meetings, the 17th meeting of the Technical Committee was held on 07 October ‎‎2020 , with the participation of the members of the Arab Accreditation, during the meeting ‎many technical topics were discussed, including the final report of the Test Program for the ‎Arab Accreditation ARAC PT 001 and the training program for members of the Arab body in ‎addition to the new requirements of the International Forum IAF and ILAC are accredited by the ‎International Laboratory Accreditation Organization.‎

‎ Also, the communication and marketing Committees held its 14th meeting through internet ‎within the annual meetings of the Arab Accreditation Cooperation. During this meeting, the ‎results of the digital transformation project of the Arab Accreditation Cooperation and the new ‎website were reviewed, in addition to the development of the social media page (Facebook and ‎Twitter) were discussed, and future projects for example introductory videos of conformity ‎assessment and accreditation activities also training courses, virtual workshops and electronic ‎training programs was assigned to implement
‎ Moreover, the new electronic program has also been tested for the upcoming virtual meeting ‎of the Arab Accreditation Cooperation general assembly
