The Sudanese Accreditation Council (SDAC) participated in the annual meeting of the African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC) during the period 26-30 September 2022 which was held in Cairo with African Accreditation Organization (AFRAC) members.
The meetings included meting of:
- Executive Committee (EXCO).
- MRA Committee meetings.
- Specialized committee meetings, Technical Committee (TC) and Marketing and Communication Committee (MCC).
- General Assembly meeting.
The meeting discussed technical issues that aimed to develop accreditation activities in African countries, also deal with programs that contribute the importance of accreditation and its role in upgrading conformity assessment activities.
Also, as part of the AFRAC annual meeting, a training course entitled the use of “Augmented Reality Glasses” was conducted in conformity assessment processes. The programme also included a training course on ISO/IEC 17024:2012, Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.
