The Sudanese accreditation Council (SDAC) has been selected, based on the assessment of its ‎capacity against the accreditation requirements, among the ARAC Accreditation Bodies ‎members that will be supported by the AIDMO-UNIDO-Sida project for technical support.‎
Under the current circumstances of Coronavirus Pandemic, SDAC has taken several measures ‎out of concern for its staff and client and taking into consideration how to avoid the negative ‎impact of the disease on its business. These measures include limiting the availability of the ‎staff at SDAC premises and encouraging them to work from home.‎
Regarding external relations, SDAC participates actively in the events organized by the ‎regional accreditation groups. SDAC attended the AFRAC mid-term meetings that took place ‎virtually from 1 to 3 June 2020. SDAC representatives were involved in the meetings of the ‎Executive Committee, the MLA Committee, the MLA Council, the technical committee and the ‎Marketing and Communication Committee
