The news of Sudanese Accreditation Council was published in the newsletter of the African ‎Accreditation cooperation, which included:‎
As a step toward achieving international recognition, SDAC membership in AFRAC as well as ‎ARAC has been successfully upgraded to a Full Member. SDAC also has Joined IHAF as an ‎Affiliate Member.‎
Following the publication of its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 transition policy, SDAC organized a ‎seminar for providing an understanding of the process and timescale for transition of laboratory ‎accreditation to this new version of the standard.‎
SDAC participates actively in the events organized by regional accreditation groups. SDAC ‎attended the AFRAC General Assembly meetings held in Abidjan, from 19 to 27 September ‎‎2019. SDAC representatives were involved in the meetings of the Executive Committee, the ‎MLA Committee and the MLA Council. SDAC also participated in the ARAC General ‎Assembly meetings held in Tunis, Tunisia from 8 to 13 September 2019.‎
