As part of the Sudanese accreditation council (SDAC) role in the development of accreditation ‎activities in the country and enhancing the efficiency of the conformity assessment bodies ‎including (laboratories, inspection, and certification bodies).‎
‏ ‏The Sudanese accreditation Council incooperation with the National Training Council ‎organized a training course on (ISO / IEC17025: 2017 the general requirements for the ‎competence of testing and calibration laboratories) during the perioed 18-21 March 2018, 20 ‎trainees from thenational instituted participated in tranning ‎
‏ ‏The training course was instructed by Dr. Mahmoud El-Tayeb, Chairman of the Arab ‎accreditation cooperation (ARAC), and member of the Executive Committee of International ‎Laboratories Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Executive Committee of International ‎Accreditation forum (IAF).‎
‏ ‏The course aimed to clarify the requirements of laboratory accreditation and qualification of ‎assessors in the field.‎
