The Sudanese Council celebrated the adoption of the International Day of Accreditation for 2017 at Al-Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum. The ceremony was attended by a group of experts and specialists from the public and private sectors.
The program included the following events:
Opening Session: Addressed by the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources and Urban Development and the Secretary General of the Sudanese Council for Accreditation
Working Session: Includes four papers:

• A paper on accreditation and its role in supporting the construction sector
• A paper on the basics of safety in construction
• A paper on the Engineering Council: Tasks and competencies and its role in organizing the engineering profession.
• A paper on the role of specifications in the development of the construction sector.
